Penetran Keratoplasti Sonrasında Maküler Ödem: Olgu Sunumu Alime GÜNEŞ ÖZET Sol gözüne maküler distrofi nedeniyle penetran keratoplasti uygulanan 53 yaşındaki kadın hastanın ameliyat sonrası birinci gündeki görme keskinliği 0,05 idi. Ameliyattan 1 ay sonraki kontrollünde görme keskinliği artmamıştı. Görme azlığını aşıklayacak biyomikroskopik muayene bulgusu saptanmadı. Maküla, ameliyattan sonra 1., 3. ve 6. aylarda optik koherens tomografi (OKT) ile değerlendirildi. OKT incelemesinde kistik maküla ödemi saptandı. Ek tedavi verilmeyen hastada santral maküla kalınlığı 3 ve 6 aylık takiplerde kendiliğinden azaldı. Üç ve 6. aydaki görme keskinliği, hastadaki ilk görme keskinliğinden daha iyiydi. Anahtar Kelimeler: Keratoplasti, Santral maküla kalınlığı, Maküler ödem Macular Edema After Penetrating Keratoplasty: A Case Report SUMMARY The visual acuity in the left eye of a 53-years-old female patient with macular dystrophy who had undergone penetrating keratoplasty was 0.05 on the first day following keratoplasty. In the second visit after one month following surgery, the visual acuity did not increase. At biomicroscopic examination; we could not find a reason which may explain that level of vision. We analysed the morphological characteristics of the macula by optical coherence tomography (OCT) at one, three and six months after surgery. Cystoid macular edema was determined by OCT examination. No additional treatment was given and the central macular thickness spontaneously decreased at 3 and 6-month follow-ups. The visual acuity at 3 and 6 months follow-ups was better than the first visual acuity in the patient. Key Words: Keratoplasty, Central macular thickness, Macular edema
