ÖZET
 
Amaç: Travmatik korneal epitel hasarı nedeniyle tedavi amaçlı kombine indometasin 5 mg + gentamisin sulfat 15000 IU (grup 1) veya diklofenak sodyum %0.1+ tobramisin %0.3 (grup 2) başlanan olgu gruplarındaki subjektif ve objektif bulguların karşılaştırılması.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Tek taraflı travmatik korneal epitel hasarı ile başvurmuş olgulardan her grup için retrospektif ve randomize olarak seçilmiş 25’er olgu seçilmiştir. Olgulardan başvurdukları gün (0.gün) ve 1. günde subjektif yakınmalarını 0’dan 3’e kadar olan bir skalada derecelendirmeleri istenmiş, objektif bulgular ise tek hekim tarafından derecelendirilerek kaydedilmiştir. 
Bulgular: Subjektif ve objektif skor ortalamaları arasında 2 grupta da istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir düşüş izlenmiş olup (p<0.05) gruplar arasında anlamlı fark saptanmamıştır.
Sonuç: Analjezik ve antibiyotik etkinliğin birlikte gerektiği  travmatik korneal hasarlarda kombine formda bulunan her 2 preparatın da eşit derecede etkin ve güvenilir olduğu görülmüştür.

Comparison of The Effects of Combined Topical Nonsteroidal Antiinflamatory Drugs and Antibiotic Preparates in Traumatic Corneal Abrasion Cases

SUMMARY
 
Purpose: To determine the efficacy of indomethacin 5 mg+ gentamicin sulfate 15000 IU (group 1) or diclofenac sodium %0.1+ tobramycine %0.3 (group 2) preparates in traumatic corneal abrasion cases.  
Material And Method: Two groups of 25 eyes with unilateral traumatic corneal abrasion were treated. The patients were asked to score their subjective complaints on a scale of 0 to 3 in the day they applied (day 0) and the next day (day 1). The objective findings were also evaluated and recorded by the same physician.    
Results: A statistically significant decrease in both objective and subjective scores was found on day 1 in both groups. There was no significant difference between the 2 groups. 
Conclusion: In cases where both analgesic and antibiotic effects are required both topical combined forms of drugs are found to be effective and safe.
