Özet

Amaç:   Suisit amaçlı ilaç alımı sonrası kliniğimizde takip ettiğimiz olguların sosyodemografik özelliklerinin incelenmesi ve ilişkili olabilecek risk faktörlerinin belirlenmesi.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya dahil edilen 68 olgunun cinsiyetleri, yaşları, medeni durumları, sosyal güvenceleri, eğitim düzeyleri belirlendi. Olguların madde bağımlılıklarının ve eşlik eden komorbit durumlarının olup olmadığı sorgulandı. Suisit girişimi ile ilgili olarak; zamanı, kaçıncı girişim olduğu ve girişim esnasında kullanılan ilaçlar tespit edildi. Tüm olgular, klinikteki takipleri esnasında bir psikiyatri uzmanınca değerlendirildi.
Bulgular: Olguların yaş ortalaması 24,0 ± 8,2 (15-47) iken,  50’si (%73,5) kadın ve 18’i (%26,5) erkek idi. Kırkaltı (%67,6) olgu bekar, 22 (%32,4) olgu ise evli idi. Olgulardan 6 (%8,8)’sının herhangi bir sosyal güvencesi yoktu. İki (%%2,9) olgu okuma yazma bilmezken,  6 (%8,8)’sı üniversite mezunuydu. Olguların 30’unda madde bağımlılığı tespit edildi. Otuz (% 44,1) olguda komorbit hastalık mevcuttu. Otuz (% 44,1) suisit girişimi yaz aylarında gerçekleşirken, 21 (%30,9)’i ilkbahar, 9 (%13,2)’u kış ve 8 (% 11,8)’i sonbahar aylarında tespit edildi.  Olguların 60 (% 88,3)’ının ilk suisit girişimi iken 6 (%8,8)’sının ikinci, 2 (%2,9)’sinin ise üçüncü girişimiydi. Olgular tarafından en çok tercih edilen ilaç grubu antidepresanlardı (n=26, % 38,2). Olguların 20 (%29,4)’sinde depresyon, 5 (%7,4)’inde anksiyete bozukluğu tespit edildi.
Sonuç: Genç yaş, kadın cinsiyet, bekar olmak, madde bağımlılığı, eşlik eden komorbit hastalık varlığı, depresyon ve yaz mevsimi suisid girişimi için risk faktörü olabilecek durumlardır.

Evaluation of The Cases After Medicine Intake with A Suicidal Purpose Followed-Up in The Internal Medicine Clinic

Summary

Aim:  Investigation of the sociodemographic characteristics of the cases followed-up in our clinic after medicine intake with a suicidal purpose and determining the possibly related risk factors.
Material and Method: Gender, age, marital status, social security, educational level of 68 subjects included in the study were designated.  Drug abuse of the subjects and accompanying comorbit conditions were interrogated. Time of the suicide, number of previous attempts, and the used medicine during the attempt were designated.  All subjects were assessed by a psychiatrist during the clinical follow-up.
Results: Mean age of the subjects (50 (73,5%) female and 18 (26,5%) male) was 24,0 ± 8,2 (15-47).  Of the subjects, 46 were unmarried (67,6%), 22 (32,4%) were married. 6 (8,8%) of the subjects had no social security at all.  2 subjects (2,9%) were illiterate , 6 (8,8%) were university graduates. Drug abuse was determined in 30 of the cases. Comorbit disease was present in 30 ( 44,1%) subjects.  While 30 (44,1%) suicides were performed during the summer months, 21 (30,9%) were performed during the spring months, 9 (13,2%) were performed during the winter months and 8 (11,8%) were performed  during the autumn months.  It was the first suicide attempt for the 60 (88,3%), second attempt for the 6(8,8%), third attempt for the 2 (2,9%) of the subjects. Antidepressants constituted the most preferred medicine group (n=26, 38,2%). Depression was diagnosed in 20 (29,4%) subjects, anxiety disorder was diagnosed in 5 (7,4%) subjects.
Conclusion: Young age, female gender, unmarried status, drug abuse, presence of accompanying comorbit disease, depression and the summer season are the states that may constitute risk factors for the suicidal attempts.
