Özet

Tiroid hastalıkları sırasında, otoimmün hepatit, primer biliyer siroz gibi spesifik karaciğer hastalıkları görülebildiği gibi antitiroid ilaç kullanımına bağlı karaciğer fonksiyon testlerinde de bozukluklar olabilmektedir. Bu makalede, Graves’ hastalığı ile birliktelik gösteren, diğer spesifik karaciğer hastalığı bulguları olmayan, antitiroid tedavi ile remisyon sağlandıktan sonra tam düzelme saptanan hiperbilirubinemik olgu nedeni ile hipertiroidizm ve karaciğer anormallikleri tartışılmıştır.

A Case of Jaundice that Has Gone in Complete Remission by Treatment of Hyperthyroidism

Summary

During the progresses of the thyroid diseases, some spesific liver diseases such as autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary chirrosis, and abnormal liver function tests due to anti-thyroid drug usemay occur. In this article, hyperthyroidism and liver anomalies have been discussed, because the case with hyperbilirubinemia; that had showed coexistance with Grave’s disease; had no findings of other spesific liver diseases; had complete remission after the use of anti-thyroid treatment.
