ÖZET

Koroid malign melanomu (KMM) tanısı konulan 3 olgu çalışma kapsamına alındı ve optik koherens tomografi (OKT) incelemeleri yapıldı. Olguların tümünde tümör alanındaki retinada normal olmayan yapısal değişiklikler, retina içi kistik değişiklikler ve seröz retina dekolmanı saptandı. OKT klinik muayene ile tespit edilemeyecek retinal değişikliklikleri hassas şekilde belirleyebilmekteydi. Daha önce yapılan çalışmalarda koroid nevüsü olanlarda KMM’da saptanan OKT değişikliklerinin daha az sıklıkla saptandığı göz önüne alınırsa OKT bu hastaların ayırıcı tanısında rol alabilir.

Optical Coherence Tomography in Choroidal Malign Melanoma

SUMMARY

Three patients with choroidal malign melanoma were included in this case series and optical coherence tomography (OCT) scans across the surface of the tumour were acquired for all patients. Abnormal retinal structure, cystic changes in the tissue overlying the tumour and serous retinal detachments were observed in all patients. OCT is a sensitive method that able to identify the retinal changes before they become clinically visible. Former investigations showed that this OCT changes were less frequent in the patients with presumed choroidal nevus. OCT results may play role in the differential diagnosis of choroidal lesions.
