Fuchs Üveiti Olan Hastalarda Klinik Seyir ve Prognoz Sevim KAVUNCU, Pınar ÖZDAL, Gültekin KÖKLÜ ÖZET Amaç: Fuchs’un heterokromik üveiti (FHU) olan hastalarda üveit seyrinin ve klinik özelliklerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Ulucanlar Göz Hastanesi Üvea-Behçet biriminde izlenen 33 FHU hastasına ait dosya kayıtları retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Ondokuzu erkek 14’ü kadın olmak üzere toplam 33 hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Tüm hastalarda tek taraflı tutulum vardı. En sık rastlanan semptom bulanık görme ve görme azlığıydı (%86). Yıldızımsı ve orta büyüklükteki diffüz keratik presipitatlar 30 gözde (%91) izlendi. Tüm gözlerde hafif bir ön kamara reaksiyonu vardı. Heterokromi sadece 10 gözde (%30) izlendi. İris nodülleri hiçbir hastada izlenmedi. Komplike katarakt 30 gözde (%90), glokom 3 gözde (%9) izlendi. Sonuç: Fuchs’un heterokromik üveiti tipik KP’ler, değişen derecelerde vitrit, bazen heterokromiyle beraber izlenen hafif bir üveit tipidir. Genellikle iyi seyirli olmakla beraber PPV gerektiren yoğun vitreus bulanıklığı ve tedaviye dirençli glokoma kadar giden ciddi komplikasyonlarla da sonuçlanabilir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Fuchs heterokromik üveiti, Katarakt, Glokom, Prognoz, Pars plana vitrektomi Clinical Course and Visual Prognosis in Patients with Fuchs’ Uveitis SUMMARY Aim: To characterize the clinical features and prognosis of patients with Fuchs’ heterochromic uveitis (FHU). Material and Method: Clinical records of 33 patients with FHU followed at Uveitis and Behçet’s disease department of Ulucanlar Eye Hospital, were evaluated retrospectively. Results: Thirty three patients (19 male, 14 female) were included in this study. Unilateral involvement was noted in all patients. The most common symptom was blurred or decreased vision (86%). Stellate and medium-sized diffuse keratic precipitates were noted in 30 eyes (91%). A mild anterior chamber reaction was observed in all of the affected eyes. Hetero - chromia was observed in only 10 (%30) patients. Iris nodules, were not seen in any of the eyes. Complicated cataract and secondary glaucoma were observed in 30 (%90) and 3 (9%) eyes, respectively. Conclusion: Although Fuchs’ heterochromic uveitis is characterized by a mild uveitis with characteristic KPs, varying degrees of vitritis and heterochromia, there might be a medically uncontrollable glaucoma and severe vitreous condensation in which vitrectomy is indicated.
