Diabetes Mellitus Hastalarında Korneal Hacim Değerlendirmesi Penpe Gül FIRAT, Ercan ÖZSOY, Göksel GÜNDÜZ, Selim DOĞANAY ÖZET Amaç: Non-proliferatif diyabetik retinopatisi (NPDR) olan hastalarda merkezi ve periferal korneal hacim değişimlerini ve merkezi korneal kalınlığını (MKK) değerlendirmeyi ve karşılaştırmayı amaçladık. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma kapsamına hafif NPDR olan 20 hasta (Grup 1), orta-ileri NPDR’si olan 25 hasta (Grup 2) ile yaş ve cinsiyet karşılaştırmalı 25 sağlam olgu (Grup 3) alındı. Tüm olguların santral merkezi korneal kalınlıkları (MKK) ile 3, 5 ve 7 mm’deki kornea hacimleri (KH) Pentacam ön segment analiz cihazı ile değerlendirildi. Gruplar MKK ve KH değerleri açısından karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular: Grup 1, 2 ve 3 için MKK’lar sırasıyla; 534,15±29,44 μ, 534,64±29,44 μ ve 547,12±24,38 μ idi. 3 mm’deki KH değerleri gruplar için sırasıyla; 3,88±0,22, 3,88±0,19 ve 3,96±0,17 mm3 idi. 5 mm’deki KH değerleri gruplar için sırasıyla; 11,4±0,62, 11,4±0,48 ve 11,6±0,51 mm3 idi. 7 mm’deki KH değerleri gruplar için sırasıyla; 24,4±1,37, 24,5±1,02 ve 24,93±1,18 mm3 idi. Gruplar arasında MKK, 3, 5 ve 7 mm’deki KH değerleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark yoktu (p>0,05). Sonuç: NPDR evresindeki hastalar ile normal olgular arasında korneal hacim ve MKK değerleri açısından fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Material and Method: 20 patients with mild NPDR (Group 1), 25 patients with moderatesevere NPDR (Group 2), and sex and age matched 25 subjects without Diabetes Mellitus (Group 3) were enrolled in this study. CCT and CV of 3, 5 and 7 mm were measured using Pentacam anterior segment imaging (Pentacam, Oculus, Inc.). Groups were compared for CCT and CV values. Results: Mean CCT values for groups 1, 2 ve 3 were; 534.15±29.44 μm, 534.64 ± 29.44 μm ve 547.12±24.38 μm respectively. Mean CV values in 3 mm for groups 1, 2, ve 3 were; 3.88±0.22, 3.88±0.19 ve 3.96±0.17 mm3 respectively. Mean CV values in 5 mm for groups 1, 2, and 3 were; 11.4±0.62, 11,4±0.48 ve 11.6±0.51 mm3 respectively. Mean CV values in 7 mm for groups 1, 2, and 3 were; 24.4±1.37, 24.5±1.02 ve 24.93±1.18 mm3 respectively. There was no statistically significant difference according for the CCT and CV values for 3, 5, and 7 mm between the groups (p>0.05).
