Anizometropik Ambliyop Çocuklarda Topikal Anesteziyle Refraktif Cerrahi: İki Olgu Sunumu Mutlu ACAR, Volkan YAYLALI, Ebru Nevin ÇETİN, Cem YILDIRIM, Elvan DEMİRYAY ÖZTÜRK, İbrahim TOPRAK, Avni Murat AVUNDUK ÖZET Çocuklarda anizometropik ambliyopi tedavisi; refraktif hataların gözlükle veya kontakt lens ile düzeltilmesi ve kapama yöntemini içerir. Düşük hasta uyumu nedeniyle yüksek anizometropisi olan vakalarda bu yöntemleri uygulamak zor olabilir. Refraktif cerrahi erişkinlerde başarıyla kullanılmaktaysa da, çocuklardaki kullanımı ise hala tartışmalıdır. Refraktif cerrahi klasik ambliyopi tedavisine uyumu düşük olan anizometropik ambliyop çocuklarda kullanılabilir. Topikal anestezi ile laser assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) cerrahisi ise; cerrahi prosedüre yeterli uyumu olan çocuklarda güvenle ve etkin bir şekilde uygulanabilir. Bu çalışmada, ambliyopi tedavisi ile yeterli sonuç alınamayan anizometropik ambliyop 7 ve 14 yaşındaki çocukların topikal anestezi kullanılarak yapılan LASIK cerrahisi sonuçlarını sunmak amaçlanmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Anizometropik ambliyopi, Çocuk, LASIK, Topikal anestezi Refractive Surgery with Topical Anesthesia in Anisometropic Amblyopia Children: Report of Two cases SUMMARY The treatment of anisometropic amblyopia in children includes; correction of the refractive error with spectacles or contact lenses combined with occlusion therapy. It can be difficult to use these methods in cases of high anisometropia, because of poor patient compliance. Although refractive surgery has been successfully used in adults, the usage in children is still controversial. Refractive surgery can be used in anisometropic amblyopia children who are poor candidates for the adaptation of classic ampliopia management. Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) surgery with topical anesthesia can also be performed safely and effectively in children cooperative enough to undergo the surgical procedure. In this study, we report the results of LASIK surgery using topical anesthesia in 7 and 14 years old children with anisometropic amblyopia in whom we wouldn’t achive adequate results by amblyopia treatment.
