ÖZET

Lameller iktiyozis (Lİ) keratositlerin soyulması ve anormal oluşumu ile karakterize bir grup hastalıktır. Lİ’nin sıkığı üçyüzbin doğumda birdir. Otozomal resesif kalıtıma sahiptir. Lİ’de trikiyazis, ektropiyon, blefarit ve madarozis görülür. Bu çalışmada, 22 yaşındaki annenin ikinci gebeliğinden, normal spontan vajinal yolla, 35 hafta 2170 gr olarak doğan, konjenital ektropiyon ve konjunktival protüzyon gözlenen fakat göz bulguları medikal tedavi sonrası tamamen iyileşen Lİ’li bebek sunulmuşur. Bu olgu sunumunda, konjenital lameller iktiyosizin (KLİ) göz bulgularını ve tedavisini sunmayı amaçladık.

Bilateral Conjunctival Protrusion Developing in a Case with Congenital Lamellar Ichthyosis

ABSTRACT

Lameller ichthyosis is a group of disorders characterized by abnormal formation and desquamation of keratinocytes. The frequency of lamellar ichthyosis is in 300000 live births. It has autosomal recessive inheritance. Trichiasis, ectropion, blepharitis and madarosis are seen in lameller ichthyosis. We present a baby with lamellar ichtiyosis, from the second parity of an 22 years old mother, born by normal spontaneous vaginal route, as 35 weeks of gestational age and with a weight of 2170 gr. Congenital ectropion and conjunctival protrusion were observed but eye findings totally recovered after medical treatment. In this case report, we aimed to present the ocular features and management of congenital lamellar ichthyosis.
