Kornea Yabancı Cismi ile Başvuran Bir Konjenital Retina Pigment Epitel Hipertrofi Olgusu

ÖZET
Konjenital retina pigment epitel hipertrofisi (KRPEH) nadir rastlanan, selim seyirli, oval şekilli ve sınırları belirgin konjenital fundus lezyonudur. Semptom vermez ve genellikle rutin göz muayeneleri sırasında tesadüfen saptanır. Bu çalışmada, korneal yabancı cisim yakınması ile kliniğimize başvuran ve dikkatli bir muayene sonucu saptanan tipik KRPEH olgusunu sunmayı amaçladık.

A Case of Congenital Hypertrophy of Retinal Pigment Epithelium Presenting with a Corneal Foreign Body
ABSTRACT
Congenital hypertrophy of retinal pigment epitelium (CHRPE) is a rare, benign, round with marked borders congenital fundus lesion. It is usually asymptomatic and generally detected during routine ophthalmic examination. In this study, we aimed to report a typical CHRPE case detected incidentally, presenting to our clinic with a corneal foreign body.
