Keratokonus, birçok hastalıkla birlikteliği literatürde gösterilmiş olan bir klinik tablodur. Kliniğimize ilerleyici görme kaybı ile başvuran ve nistagmusu mevcut olan 32 yaşında erkek hastanın, yapılan oftalmolojik muayenesi sonucu keratokonus tanısı koyulmuştur. Kornea topografisinde ortalama K değerleri sağ ve sol gözde, 54.15 D ve 48.74 D olup, keratokonusu düşündürmekte ve diğer oftalmolojik muayenesi nistagmus, iriste translusens ve dilatasyonlu fundus muayenesinde foveal hipoplazi, periferik fundusta hipopigmentasyon ile oküler albinizmle uyumlu görünüm saptanmıştır. Daha önce okülokutanöz albinizm keratokonus birlikteliği görülmüş ancak oküler albinizm keratokonus birlikteliği daha önce rapor edilmemiştir. Bu olgu sunumu keratokonus ve oküler albinizm birlikteliğine dikkat çekilmektedir.

Keratoconus is a clinical entity which can be together with multiple disorders in the literature. 32 year-old man who appealed to our clinic with progressive visual disturbance and nystagmus was diagnosed as keratoconus with ophthalmologic examination. Averaged K values in corneal topography were 54.15 D and 48.74 D in the right and left eyes suggesting keratoconus, other ophthalmologic examinations revealed nystagmus, translucency of iris and foveal hypoplasia, peripheral hypopigmentation with dilated fundus examination and this apperance was consistent with ocular albinism. Although coexistence of keratoconus and oculocutaneous albinism cases exists, there is no report about ocular albinism with keratokonus. With this case report we take attention togetherness of keratoconus and ocular albinism.
