Zoledronik Asit İnfüzyonu Sonrası Gelişen Unilateral Akut Ön Üveit

ÖZET
Bu makalede osteoporoz tedavisi için uygulanan zoledronik asit infüzyonu sonrası gelişen unilateral akut ön üveit olgusu sunulmuştur. Sol gözündeki kızarıklık şikayetiyle 57 yaşındaki kadın hasta polikliniğimize başvurdu. Biyomikroskopide sol gözde, siliyer enjeksiyon, kornea ödemine bağlı Descemet membran kırışıklıkları, keratik presipitatlar, ön kamarada +3 hücre ve +3 flare, yoğun fibrin reaksiyonu ve çepeçevre arka sineşiler mevcuttu. Hastaya topikal kortikosteroid başlandı. Beşinci günde tüm klinik bulgular iyileşmişti. Zoledronik asit tedavisi enflamatuar göz hastalıklarına sebep olabilmektedir. Göze ciddi derecede hasar verebilecek bu hastalıklar topikal steroid tedavisi ile başarıyla tedavi edilebilmektedir.

Unilateral Acute Anterior Uveitis After Zoledronic Acid Infusion
ABSTRACT
We report a case with unilateral acute anterior uveitis after zoledronic acid infusion for the treatment of osteoporosis. A 57 year old female patient was admitted with complaints of redness in her left eye. Ciliary injection, wrinkles and folds in the Descemet's membrane due to corneal edema, keratic precipitates, +3 cells in anterior chamber, intensive fibrin reaction, and all around posterior synechia was noted in the left eye by biomicroscopy. She was treated with topical corticosteroids. On the fifth day of treatment, all clinical findings had disappeared. Zoledronic acid treatment may lead to inflammatory eye diseases. These diseases may cause serious ocular injury, however they can be successfully treated with topical steroids.
