ÖZET
Amaç: Psödoeksfoliasyon sendromlu hastalarda haptikleri dışında benzer özelliklere sahip iki akrilik lensin postoperatif 2-3 ay süresince kapsül boyutunda oluşturduğu değişikliği saptamak
Gereç ve Yöntem: Toplam 13 hastada 7 göze tek parça akrilik lens olan Acrysof SA-60 ve 8 göze akrilik optiğe ve polimetilmetakrilat (PMMA) haptiğe sahip Sensar AR-40e yerleştirildi. Kapsüloreksis açıklığı ameliyat sırasında, ameliyattan sonra 3. hafta ve 2-3. ayda dijital fotoğraflarla tespit edildi. Arka kapsül opasitesi de ayrıca değerlendirildi.
Bulgular: Takip süresince ne kapsuloreksis boyutu ne de arka kapsül opasitesi yönünden her iki lens arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmadı.
Sonuç: Sınırlı sayıdaki psödoeksfoliasyonlu hasta serimizde tek parça akrilik lens PMMA haptikli akrilik lensle ön ve arka kapsül üzerinde aynı dinamik özellikler göstermektedir.

Comparison of Change in Capsulorhexis Size in Pseudoexfoliation Patients After IOL Implant with Polymethylmethacrylate or Acrylic Haptic Lenses
SUMMARY
Purpose: To determine the effect of two similar acrylic lenses except their haptics on the capsulorhexis size in pseudoexfoliation patients during the 2-3 months postoperatively.
Materials and Methods: In a total of 13 patients, one-piece (monoblock) Acrysof SA-60 was implanted to 7 eyes and Sensar AR-40e (acrylic optic with polymethylmethacrylate-PMMA haptic) to 8 eyes. Capsulorhexis opening was pictured digitally during the operation, postoperatively 3rd week and 2-3rd month. Posterior capsule opacity was also evaluated.
Results: During the 2-3 month of follow-up, there was no statistically significant difference between two lenses in regard to capsulorhexis size as well as posterior capsule opacity.
Conclusıon: In small series of pseudoexfoliation patients, single piece acrylic lens shares the same dynamic properties with PMMA haptic lens over anterior and posterior capsule opacity.
