Heterotopic pregnancy, presence of intrauterine and extrauterine gestation simultaneously, seems to increase in incidence of in recent years. However, as the increased use of ovulation induction or superovulation for assisted reproductive technologies (ART) have dramatically increased the incidence of heterotopic pregnancy. We report a rare case of heterotopic pregnancy (tubal and intrauterine) occuring in a 28 year old woman after ovulation induction. An ruptured right isthmic ectopic pregnancy in the proximal portion of right tube was revealed by laparotomy.
