A rare complication of cesarean sections is the vesicouterine fistula which is an abnormal passage between the urinary tract and uterine cavity or cervical canal. It usually occurs due to the necrosis because of local trauma and prolonged labor or with iatrogenic surgical or obstetric complications. Two women with a history of cesarean sections were admitted to our clinic. Both patients had signs and symptoms of pelvic infection and a history of chronic urinary leakage. With imaging techniques and pelvic examination vesicouterine fistulas were detected in both patients. Patients were operated and O'Conor technique was used for reconstruction. The mechanism underlying the development of vesicouterine fistulas has been suggested as technical error at low segment cesarean sections. The incidence of fistulas will decrease and the success rate of fistula operations will increase with correct choice of surgical techniques and caring about the anatomy.
