ÖZET

Aromataz P450 östrojen biyosentezinde anahtar enzimdir.Östrojen, meme endometrium,over kanseri gibi malignitelerde ve endometriozis,jinekomasti,puberte prekoks gibi bozukluklarda temel faktördür.Östrojenin dokulardaki etkilerini engellemek veya östrojen sentezini önlemek için mevcut modaliteler dışında alternatif ilaç tedavilerine ihtiyaç vardır.Bu makalede bu yönde aday ilaçlar olarak bilinen aromataz inhibitörlerinin bugünkü klinik durumları ve gelecekteki muhtemel uygulamalarını gözden geçirdik.

Aromatase Inhibitors and Clinical Applications in Gynecology

ABSTRACT

Aromatase is a key enzym in estrogen-biosynthesis.Estrogen is the basic faktör in disfunctionalities like endometriosis, gynecomasty, precocious puberty and it also plays role in the malignities like breast,endometrium,ovary cancer. It is evident that.there is a need for alternative medical treatment other than currently implied modalities in order to prevent estrogen's effects on tissues or its synthesis.In this article, we have reviewed the results of current clinical studies of aromatase inhibitors, which are known as candidate medical treatment in this direction. Besides, we aim to present some probable future implications of this treatment.
