ÖZET
Orbita yada kranyuma uzun süreli yüksek dozlarda radyoterapi verilmesi korneada ülserasyon ve nekrozis oluşumuna neden olabilen acil ve ciddi etkilere sahiptir. Kornea ülseri iyileşebilir ya da devam edebilir.
Bu makalede kranial radyoterapiye bağlı olarak korneal nekrozis ve perforasyon gelişen bir olgu sunulmuştur.

A Case of Corneal Necrosis Due to Cranial Radiotherapy
SUMMARY
The prolonged administration of high doses of external radiotherapy to the orbit or cranium has an immediate and severe effect in the form of necrosis and ulceration of the cornea, which may either heal or persist.
In this article, a case of corneal necrosis and perforation due to cranial radiation therapy is presented.
