ÖZET

Dünyada gelişmiş ülkelerdeki toplumlarda ecstasy kullanım sıklığı artmaktadır. Ecstasy kullanımı sonucunda santral ve periferik sinir sisteminde problemler, sıvı-elektrolit dengesizlikleri, hipetermi, karaciğer ve böbrek yetmezliği gelişebilmektedir. Bu yazımızda kliniğimizde ecstasy kullanımı sonucunda akut karaciğer yetmezliği, akut böbrek yetmezliği, periferik nöropati gelişen bir olguyu tartıştık.

Multiorgan Toxicity Due to Ecstasy Abuse

The frequency of ecstasy abuse has been increasing in the world especially in developed countries. Problems in central and periferic nerveous systems, renal and hepatic failure, electrolite imbalance and hyperthermia may develop after ecstasy abuse.
