ÖZET

Tüberküloz hastalarının %10-15'inde ekstrapulmoner tutulum vardır. AIDS seyrindeki tüberküloz infeksiyonunda ise %50 ekstrapulmoner tutulum görülür. 1980'li yıllardan itibaren HIV epidemisine bağlı olarak dünya genelinde tüberküloz insidansında artış meydana gelmiştir. Bu yazıda sık izlenen bir ekstrapulmoner lokalizasyon olan intestinal tüberküloz tartışılmaktadır.

SUMMARY

Intestinal Tuberculosis

Extrapulmonary involvement is present in 10-15% of tuberculosis patients. This ratio increases up to 50% in AIDS patients. The incidence of tuberculosis has been increased since 1980 due to HIV epidemics. Intestinal tuberculosis, a frequent extrapulmonary localization of the tuberculosis infection, is discussed in this article.
