ÖZET
Amaç: Fakoemülsifikasyon sonrası inflamasyon tedavisinde kombine edilmiş diklofenak sodyum ve tobramisin oftalmik damlanın antiinflamatuar etkinlik ve güvenirliliğinin saptanması.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Kırk hastadan oluşan çift kör, randomize, kontrollü ve prospektif bir klinik çalışmada; 20 hasta ameliyat sonrası kombine edilmiş %0.1 diklofenak sodyum ve %0.3 tobramisin oftalmik damla ile, 20 hasta ameliyat sonrası %0.1’lik deksametazon ve % 0.3’lük tobramisin damlaları ile tedavi edildi.
Bulgular: Fakoemülsifikasyonla yapılan kapsül içi katarakt ektraksiyonu ve göz içi lens implantasyonu sonrası inflamasyon kontrolünde diklofenak sodyum-tobramisin içeren kombine damlanın etkili ve güvenli olduğu görüldü
Sonuçlar: İki grup arasında ön kamara hücre ve bulanıklık durumu, korneal ödem, Descemet membran kırışıklıkları yönünden bir farklılık yoktu. İlaca bağlı yan etki tesbit edilmedi.

Efficacy and Safety of Combined Diclofenac-Tobramycin Eyedrops After
Phacoemulsıfıcatıon
SUMMARY
Purpose: To determine the anti-inflammatory efficacy and safety of combined diclofenac sodium and tobramycin ophthalmic solution in the treatment of inflammation after phacoemulsification.
Material and Methods: Double-masked, randomised, controlled, prospective clinical trial comprised 40 patients; 20 patients were treated postoperatively with combined diclofenac sodium 0.1% and tobramycin 0.3% ophthalmic solution and 20 patients were treated postoperatively with dexamethasone - tobramycin eyedrops.
Results: There was no statistically significant difference between two treatment groups in terms of anterior chamber cells, corneal edema and Descemet’s membrane folds. No side effects releated with the treatment were noted.
Conclusion: Diclofenac-tobramycin ophthalmic solution combination was effective and safe in the control of postoperative ocular inflammation after phacoemulsification cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation.
