ÖZET
Her iki gözünde görme azalması olan ve Bietti’nin kristalin retinopatisi teşhisi konulan 42 yaşındaki hastanın optik koherens tomografi incelemesi yapıldı. Hastanın gözdibi muayenesinde arka kutupta yaygın retina pigment epiteli atrofisi ve arkadlar dışında daha yoğun bir şekilde olmak üzere kristalin depozitleri izlendi. Optik koherens tomografide tüm retinada incelme olduğu tespit edildi. Retina pigment epiteli-koryokapillaris kompleksinin kalınlaştığı ve yansıma özelliğinin arttığı gözlendi. Nöroretinaya ait yansıma özelliğinde ise artış yoktu. Bu olguda optik koherens tomografi incelemesinin sağladığı in-vivo değerlendirme histolojik verilerle uygun şekilde retina pigment epitelinde ve koryokapillariste kristalin birikintisi olduğunu göstermiştir.

Optical Coherence Tomography in Bietti’s Crystalline Retinopathy
SUMMARY
A 42-year old man with Bietti’s crystalline retinopathy and bilaterally decreased vision was examined by optical coherence tomography. Fundus examination demonstrated reflective, yellow-white crystalline deposits scattered throughout the midperipheral retina with an area of retinal pigment epithelium atrophy in the posterior pole. Optical coherence tomography disclosed thinning of the entire retina. The retina pigment epithelium-choriocapillary complex was thickened and hyper-reflective. The reflectivity from the neuroretina was not increased. In this case, in vivo investigation by optical coherence tomography confirmed histologic studies that a crystalline retinopathy correspond with numerous infiltrates in the retina pigment epithelium and choriocapillaris but not in the retina.
