ÖZET
Amaç: Topikal timolol, betaksolol ve latanoprost kullanımının glokomlu olgularda solunum fonksiyon testleri (SFT) üzerine etkilerinin karşılaştırılması.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Primer açık açılı glokom (PAAG) tanısı ile takip edilen, akciğer hastalığı olmayan 30 olgu çalışmaya alındı. Olguların ilaçsız SFT değerleri ile 3 ay süresince antiglokomatöz kullanmaları sonrasında kaydedilen değerleri karşılaştırıldı.
Bulgular: Çalışmamızda topikal antiglokomatöz kullanımı ile istatistiksel olarak anlamlı SFT değişikliği saptanmadı.
Sonuç: Topikal timolol, betaksolol ve latanoprost kullanımı solunum fonksiyonlarını etkilememektedir.

The Spirometrical Outcomes of The Cases Using Anti-glaucomatous Drops
SUMMARY
Purpose: To compare the spirometrical effects of topical timolol, betaxolol and latanoprost in glaucoma cases.
Material and Methods: Thirty cases, using anti-glaucomatous eye drops for primary open angle glacoma and not having pulmonary diseases were enrolled in this study. The spirometrical values before and after 3 months of anti-glaucomatous usage were assessed and compared with each other.
Results: The outcome of the cases using anti-glaucomatous drops showed no evidence of significant decrease in pulmonary functions statistically.
Conclusion: Topical timolol, betaxolol and latanoprost usage in glaucoma cases does not impair pulmonary functions.
