Romatoid Artritli Hastada Etanercept Tedavisine Bağlı Optik Nörit Gelişimi Ayhan DURSUN, M.Kemal ARICI, Feyza DURSUN, Ayşen TOPALKARA, M. İlker TOKER, Ayşe VURAL ÖZEÇ ÖZET Göz Hastalıkları Polikliniği’ne sağ gözünde üç gündür giderek artan görme azlığı şikayetiyle başvuran 55 yaşındaki bayan hastanın sağ gözünde optik nörit tablosu mevcuttu. Hastanın özgeçmişi sorgulandığında Romatoid Artrit hastası olduğu ve bir TNF-α inhibitörü olan Etanercept kullandığı öğrenildi. Bu olgu sunumunda etanercept kullanımına bağlı optik nörit gelişimi sonrasında etanercept tedavisi derhal sonlandırılarak intravenöz yolla 5 gün 1000mg/gün dozunda metilprednizolon ve takibinde oral steroid tedavisi alan bir olgunun sunumu amaçlanmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Etanercept, Optik nörit, Romatoid artrit Optic Neuritis Associated with Etanercept Therapy in a Patient with Rheumatoid arthritis SUMMARY A 55 year old female patient who applied our ophtalmology clinic with complaint of progressive vision loss in the right eye for three days had table of optic neuritis. When the patient questioned about her resume, it was learned that she was a rheumatoid arthritis patient and she had been using Etanercept which was an inhibitor of TNF-α. In this case, it was aimed to present a patient who had developed optic neuritis due to the use of Etanercept , and treated by 1000mg/day intravenous doses of methyl prednisolone for 5 days and followed by oral steroid after Etanercept therapy immediate termination.
