Hipertansif Hastalarda Optik Koherans Tomografi ile Koroid Kalınlığı Ölçümü Sertan GÖKTAŞ, Muammer ÖZÇİMEN, Yaşar SAKARYA, Rabia SAKARYA, İsmail ALPFİDAN, Işın UĞURLU ÖZET Amaç: Hipertansif hastalarda koroid kalınlığının sağlıklı bireylerden farklı olup olmadığını araştırmak. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu prospektif çalışmada, hipertansif hastaların ortalama koroid kalınlıkları kontrol grubuyla karşılaştırıldı. Tüm katılımcıların koroid ölçümü, optik koherans tomografi ile geliştirilmiş derin görüntüleme (Enhanced Depth Imaging) modunda yapıldı. Koroid kalınlığı horizontal düzlemde, retina pigment epitelinin arka sınırı ile koroid-sklera kesişimi arasındaki mesafe ölçülerek hesaplandı. Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalaması 66,52±5,97 (56-79) yıldı. 35’i kadın (%52,24), 32’si (%47.76) erkekti. Hipertansif hastaların koroid kalınlık ölçümleri kontrol grubuyla karşılaştırıldığında arada istatiksel önemli bir fark saptanmadı ( p>0.05). Hastalar hipertansif retinopati evresine göre gruplandırıldı ve bu grupların ortalama koroid kalınlıkları karşılaştırıldığında arada istatiksel fark tespit edilmedi ( p>0,05). Sonuç: Bu çalışmada hipertansif hastalarda koroid kalınlığının, sağlıklı bireylerden farklı olmadığı tespit edildi. Anahtar Kelimeler: Hipertansiyon, Koroid kalınlığı, Optik koherans tomografi Choroidal Thickness Measurement with Optical Coherence Tomography in Hypertensive Patients SUMMARY Aim: To investigate whether choroidal thickness is different in hypertensive patients from healthy individuals. Material and Metod: In this prospective study, the average choroidal thickness was compared with the control group in hypertensive patients. All the measurement of the choroid was performed in Enhanced Depth Imaging mode with optical coherence tomography. Choroidal thickness was calculated by measuring the distance between the posterior border of retinal pigment epithelium and intersection of choroid-sclera in the horizontal plane. Results: The mean ages of patients was 66.52±5.97 (56-79). There was a 35 female (52.24%) and 32 male (47.76%) patients. Choroidal thickness measurements compared with the control group in hypertensive patients. There was no statistically significant difference between groups (p> 0.05). The patients were regrouped according to the stage of hypertensive retinopathy. There was no statistically difference in mean subfoveal choroidal thickness between these groups. Conclusion: In this study, we found that the measurement of choroidal thickness is not different in hypertensive patients from healthy individuals.
